Event: Crew Connect Manila

Last week, SSI CEO Ellie Besley-Gould joined Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global.

From the stage, SSI launched From Welfare to Risk: Tracing the Evidence for Insurers, Investors and Lenders, alongside Capt Yves Vandenborn FNI of NorthStandard and Robert John Landero. Their perspectives brought the report’s central message to life: how seafarers are treated is as much a risk question as a welfare one, and the evidence is now strong enough to act on.

SSI also visited the Nordic Medical Centre to observe enhanced PEMEs in practice. Thank you to Didoy Lubaton for the tour and for the important work you and the team do.
