Event: Member Meeting | Oslo 2026

Earlier this month, we spent two brilliant days in Oslo, one of the great maritime centres, with members and guests coming together to kick off the first stage of our 2027-30 strategy planning.

Member meetings like this are why SSI exists. Two days to step back from the day-to-day and think deeply, across the full breadth of what we do, together, in the same room. And what came through loud and clear from members was a shared commitment to building more action towards shipping's ambitious goals.

Huge thanks to our hosts, Klaveness Combination Carriers ASA and DNB, and to the brilliant guests from across the Norwegian maritime scene who joined us for parts of the meeting and made our thinking sharper for it.

Maritime faces systemic challenges as we work collaboratively to build a sustainable and successful shipping industry. It's in spaces like this, with members and guests representing different parts of the value chain, all in one room, that we see the bigger picture and start tackling them with real impact.
