Report : Delivering on Seafarers’ Rights - 2024 Progress Report

The Delivering on Seafarers’ Rights 2024 Progress Report, published by the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB), The Rafto Foundation and the Sustainable Shipping Initiative (SSI), is a comprehensive review of the challenges facing seafarers, the shipping industry’s efforts to address challenges, and recommendations going forwards. 

The report covers topics including: a summary of the SEAFAIRER Roundtable held in Singapore in October 2024 and that of the Seafarer workshop held in in India September 2024 hosted by IHRB and Mission to Seafarers, plus industry insights and observations from: Mission to Seafarers, maritime recruitment platform TURTLE, charterer South32, and Wilhelmsen Ship Management.
